Standard Editing Inclusions
The following edits are included by default with every 360° photoshoot:
Lighting Adjustments
- Uniform lighting fixtures throughout the space
- Consistent illumination across all areas
- Balanced exposure for professional appearance
Surface Cleaning
- Remove dirt, stains, and wet areas from floors and surfaces
- Clean up minor blemishes and imperfections
- Enhance the overall cleanliness and appearance
Privacy and Security
- Blur all license plates visible in shots
- Remove people from images whenever possible
- Blur faces when people cannot be removed (does not substitute for a people-free environment)
Object Removal
Standard objects removed during editing include:
- Camera and photographer reflections
- Wrinkles and creases from linens
- Warm spots and creases from furniture
- Dirty spots on ceilings and air vents
- Cables and cords
- Construction equipment
- Social distancing stickers and signs
- Glass and light reflections
Exception: Large objects relatively close to the camera cannot be removed.
Important Limitations
Editing is Not a Substitute for Preparation
The editing standards above do not replace proper photoshoot preparation. You must still:
- Prepare spaces according to the Photoshoot Readiness Video
- Complete the Photoshoot Checklist before the shoot
- Ensure spaces are clean and ready for photography
Custom Brand Requirements
If your brand has specific photography guidelines beyond our standard editing, notify your Implementation Specialist before your photoshoot. This ensures we can accommodate your requirements during the shoot and editing process.
Additional Edit Requests
Before Content Goes Live
Custom editing requests aligned with your brand guidelines should be communicated during the planning phase at no additional cost.
After Content is Live
Large edit requests submitted after content is live may incur additional charges if they:
- Fall outside the standard editing list above
- Do not align with previously provided brand guidelines
- Require significant rework of completed content
Best Practices for Optimal Results
During Photoshoot Preparation
- Remove all unnecessary objects from spaces
- Ensure people are not present during photography
- Clean surfaces thoroughly before the shoot
- Hide or remove cables and cords when possible
- Address lighting issues in advance
Communicating Brand Guidelines
- Share brand photography standards with your Implementation Specialist early
- Provide examples of preferred editing styles
- Clarify any unique requirements specific to your property
- Review sample edits before full delivery when possible
What Cannot Be Edited
Some elements have limitations or cannot be edited:
- Large objects close to the camera (removal may distort the image)
- Structural elements of the space
- Major architectural features
- Extensive renovations or changes to the space itself
