The Short Answer
If a website link works fine in your browser but won't load inside SalesHub™ or TrueTour™, it's not broken—the external website is blocking it for security reasons. This is totally normal, especially with bigger sites.
What's Happening?
Our platforms use iframes to display external content, but many websites block this to protect their users. You might see blank screens, error messages, or prompts to "open in a new tab instead."
Quick Test: If the link opens fine in a new browser tab, the external site is definitely blocking the embed. Nothing wrong on our end!
When to Contact Support
Reach out if you see:
- 404 errors inside the platform
- Links that used to work suddenly stop
- Platform-uploaded PDFs or documents won't display
Don't worry about contacting us if:
- The link works in a new tab (that's just the external site's security doing its job)
- Major sites like Facebook or Instagram won't embed (they block most iframe embeds)
The Workaround
Just use the "Open in New Tab" option when it appears. Your prospects will still get to the content—it just opens in a fresh browser window instead.
